A course that applies concepts learned in Grading and Drainage I to the design process.
Tuition: $495


Description

Assuming you understand a bit about grading and drainage* we'll apply those principals to the designed landscape. The class will be presented with a design project that will need a design solution that is aesthetically pleasing, but also requires a creative grading solution. Drainage is part of it of course.

* You've completed Grading and Drainage I or have decent grasp of how to read and create a grading plan.

Manipulating grades to fit a specific design solution

Working out paving elevations, steps, drains, and other elements of the landscape so there are no unwelcome surprises later!

Documenting your plans so that field personel can understand them

You will go home with more confidence in how to deal with grade changes in your design work.
