This is not a design program for complete beginners. Instructors assume you will have some experience with drafting tools, plants, and landscape design and understand basic landscape design vocabulary. Design projects will emphasize space planning, creating connections, and advanced design principles. We ask that each student have at least two years of experience. If you do not meet these criteria but feel your other qualifications ought to be considered, by all means give us a call and we can discuss it. Likewise if you have any other concerns, please let us know.
We limit class sizes to make sure each student gets enough one-on-one attention. Depending on the material being covered, you may have more than one instructor over the course of a week.
