Description

This garden's dramatic transformation is a result of the owner's love of color and gardening. And part of the back yard was influenced significantly by a serious water problem. Prior to our arrival, spring meant standing water filling nearly two thirds of the back yard, rendering it unusable. Now, not only is it nice to look at, but there is a back yard where there really wasn't one before.

Miscellaneous

This project won a Design Award from the Perennial Plant Association (PPA) in 2003 and was featured on the cover of American Nurseryman in 2001.
