Designed in Fall 1997 and installed in 1998. It took 7 months.

Description

This very large and complicated project, completed in 1998, began as a wooded acre in an established neighborhood. The design is a series of garden rooms or spaces which is a true "voyage of discovery," as one walks through it.

The complicated design and installation involved a swimming pool with spa, automatic pool cover, and fiber-optic lighting iron fencing, landscape lighting, major grading and drainage, extensive paving in stone and brick and irrigation.

Miscellaneous

This project won a Silver Award from the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association in 2001 and also at national award from the APLD (Association of Professional Landscape Designers) in 2003.
